Our speaker this month is Emily Bondor\, of Santa Cruz Bee Company and President of the Santa Cruz Beekeepers Guild! \n\n\n\nWhether you’re heading into your first summer or your fifteenth\, there’s something here for every beekeeper. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nParking\n\n\n\nPlease\, respect the El Rio residents: \n\n\n\n\nNever park inside the park\, please park outside the mobile home community.\n\n\n\nUpon leaving\, please keep your voices down so as not to disturb the residents.\n\n\n\nIf you park on the street\, make sure you pay your meter to avoid a ticket.\n\n\n\nIf you park in the LENZ Arts parking lot\, never block any cars. Staff sometimes stay until 7 p.m. and many park behind the building–behind the chain link fence.\n\n\n\n\nWe may use the Lenz Arts lot on the following conditions: \n\n\n\n\nAny parking in the lot MUST\, MUST be after 6 p.m. Earlier runs the risk of towing. After 6:10 p.m. is best.\n\n\n\nAbsolutely no blocking egress of ANY vehicle\n\n\n\nNo parking anywhere along the fence where it says “No Parking.”\n\n\n\nNever assume that all cars in the lot are beekeeper cars since they are typically not.\n\n\n\nPlease\, if you see someone in the Lenz Arts parking area not parking according to these conditions\, tell them that they are jeopardizing our use of this lot.
