Spring Management & Swarms
March 2, 2019 @ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Successful beekeeping is an artful balance of skill, anticipation, preparation, and luck. This intermediate class will explore the best methods to achieve this for Spring. Most of the beekeeping year is spent supporting colonies for optimal health and Winter survival. In Spring, management techniques aim for this, but also must incorporate Spring build up, swarm management and the possibility of honey production.
**This class is an intermediate beekeeping class and is not suitable for beginners. If you are a beginner or are curious about what it takes to become a successful beekeeper, please check out our other class options and online videos.
